About Rebecca Tuffey

Rebecca Tuffey began practicing the Alexander Technique in 1994 as an actress, singer, and novice dancer. She gained her teacher certification in 2004 from the American Center for the Alexander Technique (ACAT) in New York City and the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT). Rebecca currently coordinates the Hands-On Demonstration series at ACAT and is pleased to be joining the faculty of The New School this fall.

Rebecca holds a B.A. in Acting from Sarah Lawrence College and attended a 1 year program for actors at the British American Drama Academy in London.
